I'm ashamed to say that this happened in March and I'm only now reporting it. Having had the run-around from the various call centre people I'd dealt with, who all passed me from pillar to post, in frustration I phoned Customer Services and was fortunate enough to have my call answered by Linda Pillay. She listened to my long diatribe about service and about my problem, took pains to understand the problem, and promised to phone me back. And she did! She hadn';t solved the problem but phoned to tell me she was still working her way through the departments (with more success than I'd had). The next day she phoned to tell me that the problem was solved. And it was!
Linda - if there were more people like you at Nedbank (or the other financial institutions) it would be a pleasure to deal with them. Unfortunately your attention to customer service and willingness to go the extra mile stands out like a beacon amongst the general poor and callous treatment we;re all used to.
I hope that Nedbank sees this, acknowledges your contribution and takes note.
