On the 12th of June I contacted the Business Banking call centre an requested for bank statements to be sent to me that were not available on Internet Banking as it only stores 180 days worth of transactions.

As this was archived information that I requested I was happy to wait the two business days they promised it will take. The agent gave me the reference number etc and confirmed that the person this ticket will be assigned to will contact me with the number of pages and final cost as it will be charged at R20 per page (As if this is printed in Gold or perhaps downloaded the Governor of the Reserve Bank). I told the agent that if I'm paying this absurd amount then they better deliver on time!

As expected I had to call repeatedly to get transferred from pillar to post to eventually get through to Lindiwe (Ref 39252090) that also promised to call back but didn't. Had to then go to a branch to find out that the query was not even looked at yet and the ticket it still opened and will indefinitely stay opened as no one can answer and give a new commitment to this request.

This is shocking service! FNB supplied me with two years of statements within an hour and didn't even charge!
