13.5 times more than quoted

I gave in a ABSA bank cheque (from ABSA self) at Nedbank and requested it to be made as available funds on Monday 10 June 2013. (This being a bank cheque and I have done this several times in the past- I didn't think this would be a problem). The branch manager informed me that they could not assist with this - but the best they could do is ask for a special clearance. I enquired as to the fees involved and the branch manager spoke to another lady and confirmed the fees would be R65 and it would take 3days.

Now - Thursday evening - the 13th of June 2013 - I see that not only is the funds still not available, ie, the special clearance did not do what it was supposed to do, BUT NEDBANK has billed me R875 for this service it has not (yet) provided.
Only 13.5 times that what was quoted to me by the branch manager.

I wonder if I was to bill my clients 13 times what I initially quoted if I would still have any client left.
Guess its time to make a move then... ABSA here I come?
