To pay the what i dont owe

Last year I borrow money from Capfin, they deducted my account non-stop. When I called them for clarification and ask why the debt is not decreasing, they never gave me attention and explanation. I ended up closing my account and re-open a new one. This year they handed me over to attorneys for collection of R7 thousand and some change after paying them for more than over seven months, monthly instalment of R1 4 and some change. The initial load was R6500.00. How is the sum of R7 thousand and some change arrived at when I have already paid them more than R9 thousand. I need clarity.
