Outsurance
Outsurance does not honor their contracts

I have a claim pending with outsurance, after an drove into the back of my car. And now with all sorts of excuses and stories outsurance wants to increase the excess I have to pay to R 7000. This is a breach of the contact they made with me, where I am suppose to pay a flat excess regardless of the type of claim or amount.

Below is an extract of said agreement...

EXCESS UPDATE
The basic excesses for all sections have been adjusted and are reflected on the schedule. You can
choose a higher basic excess and reduce your premiums or you can reduce your excess in
exchange for a higher premium.
We have maintained the flat excess structure whereby the basic excess indicated on your
schedule is payable when you claim, regardless of the value or nature of the claim.

This is utterly unacceptable.BY LAW, I WILL NOT PAY A SINGLE SENT MORE THAN THE EXCESS STATED IN MY UPDATED AGREEMENT AS RECEIVED ON 27/05/2013, WHICH IS THE AMOUNT OF R 2980.00.

I WILL BE IN CONTACT WITH MY ATTORNEY REGARDING THIS, AND WILL ALSO LODGE MY COMPLAINT WITH THE CPA!
