I went to ABSA Midrand to enquire about a deduction that went off on 30 April 2013, on 03 June 2013. The Consultant advised me that it was incorrectly effected and thus the Bank (ABSA) should make adjustments and refund monies due to me. I was told on the day that the process will take 5days which i did not have a problem with. I was given a reference 111 5246, i then followed up with the bank on 7 June 2013 to check if all was still in order and was told that refunds will be effected in due course. I phoned this morning as i could not see any progress, only to be told that the consultant that assisted me on 3 june 2013 did not forward request for a process, the only time the request was made was on 7 June 2013. This incompetence is causing inconvenience as this is not my fault but the Bank's and i can not afford to wait any longer. Please process this asap as i am not happy with this process.
I am surprised that this is taking too long to be processed however the process of a deduction from my account took place very quickly in this regards. Contact me asap to advise progress on this (079 648 2670)
