INCORRECT DEBIT ORDER DEDUCTION
- 06-07-2013

I was retrenched in September 2012 and subsequently sent through an insurance claim with African Bank to pay out my instalments, which was done and processed up to March this year. I then received an email from African bank to say that if I was still unemployed (which I was and still am) that I need to re-submit an insurance claim. I sent through the documents via email and fax and was told to wait 2 weeks for a confirmation sms to say they had received the documents. I didn't receive any sms and then went back to African Bank and re-submitted the documents again and waited a further 2 weeks... this has been going on since March and only now on 15 May 2013 did I finally get a sms to say they have received my documents. I did not receive any further communication from African Bank regarding the claim and have been waiting patiently. In the interim I had a debit order go off at the beginning of May 2013 (which was deducted off my miniscule UIF payment) and then again now in June (where I also had the debit orders bounce and have now also incurred bank fee's for that). I spent most of the day on 6 June at the African bank in the Wheel in Durban trying to speak to someone to help me
