FNB now also support cash robberies

FNB used to open accounts for asylum seakers. We went today to open an account for an Indian Asylum seeker. The bank told us that since November last year no more accounts are opened for asylum seekers. Must the people walk around with their cash and face the criminals? This is to say the least! Can anyone please advice if any bank open accounts for asylum seekers? FNB can just as well close their branches in India! Can you please explain why someone legally employed on asylum can not open a bank account in South Africa!! Or is it to much admin to verify the asylum status as thine affairs? there are millions of rand in circulation outside the banking system and the banks don't make it any easier.
