I used an auto bank at Field's centre. (no camera) and had my card. My pin came up bold and clear on the screen. I tried to push cancel, but before it disappeared a hand came over my shoulder and my card. I immediately phoned the number on the machine to stop my card and did the necessary security checks. I was told that my card had been stopped. This was at 17h17. At 17h19 money was withdrawn from the FNB auto bank next door and 10 minutes later money was withdrawn from my savings account at the Shell garage in Hillcrest. It is now 3 weeks later and I have not spoken to a investigator. I must have made 20 phone calls and sent 20 emails and am told that my case will be escalated. On Tuesday I was in the bank and heard that my case had been declined. How can this be possible when I stopped my card and no investigator has spoken to me. Standard bank claims to move you forward and to meet your needs.!
