On Sunday the 10/03/13 i used my Debit card to pay at a retail shop, and the card didn't wanna perform the transaction until the lady swiped it thrice. The following morning @ around 5 am i received an sms saying an amount of R3870 (which is above my daily limit) was withdrawn from my account and I'm left with a balance of R1.95. I phoned the customer service and they stopped my card immediately and advised me to go to the bank and get a new one. When i got to the bank i told them what had happened, they took my card and gave me a new one and they told me to wait for the investigator to contact me (after 3 days), after 3 days nothing happened, i called them and they told me to wait for another 3 days, after hanging the phone i got an sms saying 10 days. The lady told me that i will get a response on the 26th and there is no guarantee that i will be reimbursed. The consultant told me that my card might be compromised hence someone can make withdrawals while the card is with me. So if that's the case why don't i have a guarantee that i will be reimbursed.
