Good day, Yesterday afternoon I tried withdrawing from a ATM in Johannesburg Ghandi Square as I entered my pin it popped up on the screen, as I looked to my left I saw a man standing slightly behind me when I saw him he started running. I tried cancelling the card but it was not coming out of the ATM. I panicked left the atm and immediately phoned stop cards in order to stop my card, they said they stopped it and gave me a reference number 1220756351. After stopping the card a R1000 was withdrawn from my card I phoned back to report the incident again they said they dont know what is happening as the card is stopped another R900 was withdrawn I phoned again after that another R2000 was taken out of my account they eventually said they will open a case and gave me a reference number 3244536. I am extremely disappointed, hurt and needs action to be taken immediately. they said it takes 3 days I cannot afford to wait 3 days. Is it not a banking policy that after you have stopped the card the bank is responsible in paying your money back. I need my money back ASAP. This has been utter poor service from Standard bank. 3 days is hilarious and I want it resolved today.
