False advertising at FNB in connection with their Samsung Galaxy S4 Promotion. I received a call on the 27/05 from a call center lady, due to her instruction I upgraded my account & applied. On 31/05 I received my new card via courier. On 06/06 my phone was delivered to me, Monday I opened my phone and found that the new phone doesn't have a sim card. I then inquired about the sim card & was informed that I did not qualify for the sim with 1G data. I cannot recall this info, I wouldn't have gone ahead with this contract. I was transferred to another department who then said that I qualify for this deal for R399 per month as I am an existing customer. I agreed to this on the condition that they transferred the handset internally as I already opened the phone. I was told I can cancel within, 7 then 14 then 30 days with no penalties, as no one really knows what is going on! I was thereafter told I will have to pay 20% of the phones retail value as I opened the package. It is now more than a month FNB is coming to collect the phone as I cancelled the whole contract still waiting on confirmation of the cancelation fee being waived
