I received the following sms just after opening my credit card account with FNB.

FNB :-) Swipe your FNB Credit Card for R1.00 or more & we will waive your initiation fee - You Save R135! Offer ends 31 July 2013.

I bought goods at a chain store for about R66 just after.

When I looked at my account details, it still shows Initiation fee R135.

Will this still be removed or is this false advertising?
