Charged for FNB's mistake

Following my credit account being upgraded without consent and a huge struggle to have it put back to Gold status, I have now received my new card (fetched it at a branch) and now I have been charged R135 initiation fee! This was FNB's breech of contract and now I must pay to reinstate what was mine. The worst part is that I asked a person at the branch to confirm that I will not pay initiation fee, I phoned credit card division and STIll I get debited. UNACCEPTABLE and infuriating.
