Business & Finance

Good day,

I logged into FNB online banking last week, where I clicked on an advertisement to apply for a credit card with the following terms:
1. The initiation fee of R135 would be waived upon spending R500 before a certain date
2. The E-bucks linkage fee of R200 would be waived and I would receive 2500 e-bucks into my e-bucks account.
I did the application online and received my credit card this week. I then phoned FNB to confirm point number two as mentioned above, but no-one in your sales department could verify this or supply me with any kind of documentation in this regard. FNB, what is going on? Why does your sales department not know about this promotion and secondly, if I now do link my card to e-bucks how am I going to have proof that you will stick to your word and waive the e-bucks linkage fee as well as credit my account with the 2500 e-bucks, as was advertised online when I did the application?

I have spoken to your credit card department, sales department (fastapp) and e-bucks itself, but none of them could assist me in any way.
