On 13 March 2013 I sent a query to [Email Removed] with regard to the refund of my initiation fee, explaining that according to FNB's gold credit card terms, if you spend >R500 in the first month, you get a refund on the initiation fee. I spent >R500 in the first month but have not received my refund. A service consultant replied & informed me that my query was referred to FNB credit card division and also gave me their details (Ref.: QP1361625). I did not receive any response from the card division, so on 2 April 2013 I emailed them on [Email Removed] (as per details provided by service consultant) requesting an immediate response. I received a confirmation of receipt email. Still no response, so on 5 April I sent a complaint from their website (Ref: 372143300). It is now the 10th & no one has contacted me. I received my credit card in February. It is now April& no refund - which should have been an automatic refund from FNB. Now once again I have to waste my time & energy to get simple service! First FNB gave me my card late & now they ignore my queries. I can move my business to another bank if they can't provide the service! Stop making promises you can't keep FNB!
