MFC have no ethics

I was hijacked earlier this month and as such my insurance company requested a settlement from MFC. The settlement given included interest up to the 22 of June. Insurance settled with MFC on the 24 of May and yet MFC says that the extra interest they charged is not refundable. In addition to this they charged a penalty for not giving them 90 days notice. How am I supposed to plan for a hijacking? Even though the account was already settled in full I found out today that my account was still debited as per normal. How useless can MFC possibly be. Learnt my lesson and as such I will never deal with MFC or Nedbank again.
