On the 22/05/2013, my house was broken into and I was robbed. Some of the items, we bought on finance from Hi Finance, when we were there, we were the first people to be put onto their new system. Anyways, when I contacted JDG Trading, via email, Abigail Mthabela told me that my account is in arrears, but that my goods are insured, I need to bring my account up to date, then go to Hi Fi Corporation with an advidavit stating how the goods were and what was, they would then do their own investigation, pending their results, my goods would be replaced. So on the 31/05/2013, I went to pay my account up to date with a few rand extra, then went over to Hi Fi Corporation with my advidavit. The gentleman who helped me was rude and abrupt. He then said, that because we are on their new system, we only have life insurance which means, if I die, the account is covered and that our goods cannot be replaced. When I contacted JDG Trading, T.Kay Miya, a different consultant said that I am covered. When I contacted him again, he changed his story and said sorry, your goods will not be replaced. This is terrible service. I was not informed of this when I opened the account.
