Unacceptable shoddy service, no loyalty to a client

I lodged a claim with Hollard against my hospital stay insurance on 10th April 2013.To date this matter has not been finalized. After pushing and jostling the call centre, & other help, I finally managed to make contact with managers within the establishment. It then transpired that I was not insured against my own policy, which I have since 1997, and which has ALWAYS been in good-standing. This was because a family unknown to me was insured against my policy. This was finally made known to me on 16th May 2013, the same day I was informed by George Engelbrecht the Claims Manager, that he needed 48hrs to finalise my claim. To date, he has not come back to me with the outcome of my claim which he'd told me should not delay because he saw no reason even, for it not to be approved.
Having previously lodged a claim in 2004 whose response only reached me last week and which took 13 calls & 9 faxes of the same claim information (over 3 months!), I would like to know why Hollard, has no follow-thru, calls customers & ask for sensitive information using unidentifiable numbers, takes longer than the expected 48hrs to give a response to claims and why I've never been apologized to.
