Debit order date

This is an issue I seem to just not be able to win with. My salary date is never the same. It can be any day between about the 26th to the 29th. Due to this I ALWAYS ask that the debit order for a loan be set as the 1st. However, FNB insists on using the pay date on the salary advice provided with the loan EVEN when I explain that I need the debit order date as the 1st. This is now the second month in a row that a debit order for a personal loan went off before my salary was paid in and it has completely messed up my budget. I now sit with no money for food or fuel for AT LEAST 2 days. I have been a happy customer of FNB for many years and lately it has become more of a pain than a pleasure. This is not the first time I had an issue with this, this has happened a few times in the last year or two.
