With my wife at home with a new born baby and my phone broken in an accident trying to make a claim for the phone to be repaired or replaced after explaining the problem to the consultant that it is crucial that I have a phone for my wife to get hold of me, I only asked if the claim can be handled as a Urgent matter and the response is that "Someone will get back to me within 48 hour from the next day which means a consultant will contact me within 3days" and then after still decide how the situation will be handled?? This means I will sit without a phone for at least a week before a decision is made?? How is this service from an insurance company that you trust to help when a crisis presents itself? Is this not why we have insurance? Some insurance companies actually promise a 24hour response without your situation to be a crisis, this tells me that Absa I-direct can not be trusted with crisis situations! Absa I-Direct is taking advantage of the fact that we are desperate to have insurance!
