ABSA insurace service ignores customers claims

I have reported my claim almost 2 weeks ago. I got a sms that stated they will come back to me in 48 hours on my claim. Still nothing. It is sad that they want to report you to credit borough - but when they need to do what is required in the clients time of crisis - you are just another claim number to be ignored. I have tried to phone back but the 30min phone rings makes the message clear. I am in the process to report my case to the Absa ombudsman and also my friend in the Pretoria report newspaper will take further action. I will continue to try and get what I pay for from ABSA insurance - but moving to another bank might be the answer. I have had 2 other insure claims in my whole existence. It was ironically though ABSA insurance. At that point the service was awesome - but what ever happened in the last 2 years clearly destroyed the service quality.
