End of October 2013 we made a claim on our insurance. We had massive hail damage on our property (ceilings etc). ABSA sent a company who would fix the damage on their behalf. On the 13th of Nov 2013 I phoned ABSA to follow up on the claim. no response. I phoned the company (Double Trading) who handled the claim on Absa behalf... They notified me that they have done their part by sending ABSA the quotes. They are waiting for a approval. I kept phoning with no joy. I send an email to [Email Removed] as we got word that ABSA's phones were out of order. I sent this mail on the 4th of December... NO RESPONSE! Today (28 January 2014) I tried to phone again... same story. We are still sitting with the damage as we cannot repair the damage on our own... ABSA however is numb. I know for a fact that I am not the only one with the same complaint. ABSA is probably the worst company (in all departments) in our country, and I should know: been banking with them for 25 years. The property is owned by our church... and I am the Pastor of this church... I am real sad that I have to shame a name to get a normal decent response from a service provider.
