I tried to withdraw Money from the credit card twice and the transaction was declined, I went to Menlyn branch to ask them to have a look at my account and I was told that I must submit proof of residential address, copy of my ID unfortunately I didn't have an ID with me but a passport. The following day I called African Bank and I was told that I must bring an ID which I did bring it to them. Later I received a stupid SMS from African Bank stating that before they can unlock my card if I can have 3 months consecutive debit orders, I was so fed up because I have been running around like a headless chicken just to make sure that I submit all the required documents but that silly SMS made me change my mind and I decided to settle it with the balance that was left and I called African Bank to deactivate my account because I don't think I need the card as long as they can send me a letter and update my ITC report that the account was fully paid and closed, African thank you for everything and long life to you. Such a pathetic service even from the unprofessional consultants.
