Good Standing means absolutely nothing

Good Day
I have a FNB Private Clients credit card (many years) and I mainly use for petrol via a connected petro card. This card has never had any change to limits. I now want to use this card to purchase "one" item and I want to use a budget facility for 12 months, due to the impact on cash flow from my One Account.

I have a private banker and a long history with FNB of over 30 years. I need to make this purchase today and now have to listen to a process of four days... for approval.

Why do I have a credible history and the assistance of a personal banker if this takes a week to achieve.

I have been declining offers from other banks but seems I should take it up as all eggs in one basket is a constraint when needed

I require approval by about 16:30 or 17:00 and purchase is from Sounds Great Woodlands boulevard and I have sent an updated proof of income
