I can not believe what just happened. Fnb contacted my husband to say that about 7 months ago money was deposited into his account, which should have not been. At that time He was paid by for a job which he had done, and the amount was correct. We did not think anything of it. Only to be phoned by FNB yesterday to say that the money needs to be paid immediately or they will sue us. No explanation, when my husband asked who was responsible for the mistake, they did not answer, and aksed how come it took them almost seven months to discover that there was a diference, of all industries, a Bank, surely they balance daily.
My hasband explained that he is unemployed and not able to pay the amount in full, this was not good enough and the phone was put down. How do they think that they will recieve the money if they have that attitude.
People i would be careful which bank i bank with, especially with there attitude.
