I have my vehicle finance with Absa Bank. Every month R2 253.68 is debited by Absa for the vehicle finance. On the 30th April an amount of R2 836.11 was debited. I called Absa and they say the Hollard Insurance has debited the additional monies as they put a short term insurance on my vehicle. Firstly I DID NOT authorise this and I already have insurance on my vehicle with 1st For Women. I then called Absa Vehicle Finance and Assest and they say that I must fax proof of this insurance to them on 0860053422 which i did. I explained to them that I want my money back immediately and I did not give authority for ANYONE to debit my account. Absa says that I must wait 5-7 working days for the money. WHY MUST I WAIT FOR MY MONEY. Why must Absa give someone else authority to deduct? I trust my money with Absa and this is what they do. I WANT MY MONEY TODAY. Someone needs to contact me on 0749591899 to confirm when this will be rectified. I am really disgusted with the service from Absa as I was given the run around.

Absa is supposed to be a reputable bank and clients details are to be confidential but this is not the case. Clients details are given to every tom harry.
