Premium deducted after policy was cancelled

On the 10th of April 2013 i cancelled my insurance policy with the said company, they the still proceeded to deduct a premium on the 3rd of May 2013 which was not suppose to be done, i immediately got on the phone with my broker to get this paid back to us, on Monday 13th May 2013 this was still not done and i took matters into my own hands, i phoned mutual and federal and they said that it would take another 3 working days to process this re-payment of the premium, which i found totally unacceptable, on the 14th of May 2013 i phoned the call center yet again and they told me that the payment had been processed and that because they bank with a different back than mine i can expect the money in my account on the 15th or 16th of May 2013. I just got of the phone with Ian in the complaints department at Mutual and Federal and he informed me that i need to wait another 3 - 5 working days for it to reflect, this is totally unacceptable, because no payment except for a checque deposit takes 3 - 5 working days to reflect in a persons bank account. I will never in my life do business with these people again as i find the company completely incompetent. The ombudsman is the next step.
