APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE

I had logged a claim with discovery insure on the 26th April for household content that had been by our helper. Initially we were told that an assessor need to come through to the house, which was no problem. The person had come to the house on the 3rd May. From then till now I have called discovery every single day for feedback and have received NON. Everyday someone promises to call back but no one has ever called me.
I am currently so frustrated as some of the stuff were daily essentials. When the claim was logged, I was told I would have a response to the claim in 7 days, then I was told 10 days, 2 days ago I was told 2 week. IT IS NOW 2 WEEKS. How long do I have to wait to get my stuff back, Isn't the point of insurance to give you peace of mind??? Not add more stress to the situation.
I will now contact the ombudsman and my lawyers.
This is despicable service.
