NEDBANK WILL TAKE 7 DAYS TO CONFIRM CLOSED ACCOUNT

I settled my personal loan account on Friday 3 May 2013. This morning i phoned Nedbank to confirm if they closed the account, i requested a letter to be emailed that the account has been settled and i asked to cancel the debit order with immediate effect so it wont debit my bank account. Call centre agent told me then that i will have to wait 7 days before i can get a letter that the account is closed and to cancel the debit order. I dont have time to wait 7 days and now i am waisting money calling everytime. First you have to wait 48 hours for a settlement letter now you must wait 7 days to get the account closed/cancel debit order.
