Pathetic Service - Claim has been a nightmare

Very dissatisfied with service from my claims consultant. It has been two weeks since my claim was issued.
I have received zero feedback. The number the consultant gave me just rings. I continuously email asking for feedback and receive no response. I call the call centre -0860 21 21 80 each day hoping for some success. Each day the agent I speak to goes into the system and tells me that my consultant is finalizing admin work and adds a "note on the system" for the consultant to call me with feedback. No one ever calls. 2 weeks to do admin work? That's ridiculous. Yesterday I finally managed to get hold of the consultant. He advised it is taking long due to issue in getting info from my past insurance company. What do they want with my past insurance? He promised verbally and via email that my claim would be sorted today. He has not gotten back to me yet again. I am so frustrated with this pathetic service. Each month Virgin takes my money without an issue and this is what I get. How long will my car sit with Virgin collecting dust? This is the first time I have had to claim from Virgin and doubt I will stay with Virgin if this is the way they deal with claims. Absolutely pathetic!!!
