So 27 July 2012, I claimed through standard bank for our geyser, and Adhoc Plumbers came out and replaced the geyser and pressure valve. I was out of town for a few days and came back to a very wet ceiling and floor. I called Adhoc Plumbers, who was of no assistance at all. After I told them that not even one year old pressure valve is leaking so is the pipes they installed on the geyser. They confirmed that they will not replace or fix anything until further payment is received. Tried calling Standard bank with no luck. When I eventually got through Nomsa just put the phone down in my ear and did not call back.

After posting on Hello Peter and facebook, finally a response is received and standard bank sends out different plumbers to our house. Only this time, they make us wait for an hour and they leave without fixing or replacing anything. They confirmed that they will not fix the pipes as the incorrect pipes was installed by Adhoc plumbers. SO WHAT NOW STANDARD BANK? DO WE JUST LEAVE THE CEILING TO DAMAGE FURTHER AND MY HOUSE TO BE SOAKED WHILE WE WAIT FOR PROPER ASSISTANCE FROM YOU?

So much for expecting valued service for my monthly payments.
