My geyser leaked on 30 June 2013. The appointed plumbers (by Standard Bank Insurance Brokers) came to replace the geyser on 1 July 2013. They had to remove the leaking geyser - but because it was so big they cut a hole in the ceiling of my diningroom to get it out. NOW Standard Bank want to pay ME out a small amount and have this hole fixed myself - or by contractors of MY choice. I am not happy with this. THEIR appointed plumbers cut the hole in my ceiling to get the old leaking geyser out - so THEIR appointed contractors can fix the hole in my ceiling. All I want is for the damage that was created BY STANDARD BANK INSURANCE BROKERS' APPOINTED people to fix THEIR mess.
Please can someone give me a valid written reason for this MESS that I find myself in - through NO fault of mine.
