Good to know companies like this still exist

While in Thailand a few weeks back, my wife fell terribly ill and had to hospitalised for 7 nights. On arrival at the hospital i was pleasantly surprised, TIC had phoned the hospital, told them we will be arriving and guarenteed payment! While in the hospital, I made a few calls back to SA, and because I stayed there too, I had been making use of the room service facility. Although this was not even covered by the policy, Nerosha insisted that they pay the ENTIRE bill. They put us up in a hotel until they were able to reschedule our flights, they organised absolutely everything, we didnt worry about a thing. My wife had to fly business class as a result of her condition, we were BOTH upgraded without any hassles. I was also mugged in Thailand, TIC is covering that too, and we will be reimburesed for the unused hotel accomodation aswell. Nerosha and Beatrice are an asset to the company. The level of service is fantastic and personnel are compitent and friendly. I would recommend TIC to anybody looking for a travel insurance company. I will never use another company again.
