I requested a quote in Feb 2013 from the KP website and spoke to Makooke. Went through the whole questionnaire and I accepted the quote. The agent promised to send the details of the policy by email and after weeks of no response I submitted a query via their website. Still awaiting response.
Again requested a quote. This time Pierre was the sales agent. I explained that I had previously accepted a quote. He checked their system and informed me that due to the quote being older than 30 days he had to redo the whole process. This time it was also more expensive and Pierre informed me that this was due to some policy change. Even with the R100 increase in premium it was lower than I paid at the time and again I accepted.
The surprise came this month when KP debited my account for 2 policies. I phoned client services an spoke to Christa who picked this up from the system and told me that the second quoted policy would be cancelled and that someone from retentions would contact me the same day (2nd May). Still awaiting this call. The 2nd policy was cancelled (received SMS 4th May). Now awaiting debit for second policy to be returned. Poor service all round from KP!!!
