I would like to request a refund. I made a booking on groupon and was told I have 5days to make payment otherwise the order will be cancelled. I made payment for the booking two days after I made the reservation.

I'm new to Groupon and did not know when you make payment you receive a voucher number. I thought, I've paid, I'll call the hotel and reserve a date, send them my reference number with proof of payment. I did just that and found out that I needed a "voucher number" from Groupon.

I then called Groupon, after being put on hold for over 30minutes, I spoke to Loyiso Landu who I must commend was quite pleasant on the phone. To get to the point, it turns out that there is something wrong with Groupon's system and even if you adhere to all the rules they provide, there is no guarantee that you will get what you paid for as I found out in my case.

Even though I made payment two days after my booking, my order was lost somewhere on their system so the deal I paid for was cancelled and now I'm not certain of what's going on in terms of getting my refund.

I would appreciate it if someone tells me when I will be getting my refund. I intend to cancel my subscription. Not pleased.
