I bought a hairdressing deal on 18 January 2013. After which I had waited 5 days before I had received any update on my profile. The update however was not showing my voucher, it showed that the deal was cancelled because my payment was faulty. I have proof of payment as well as my bank statement to prove that it was paid into their account. I also have proof that it was not replayed to my account. I contacted a friend who works at their Cape Town branch and she assured me that they have had reimbursement difficulties with their payment system and that they would allocate me with a voucher for R 291 - the cost of their faulty deal. After I had received no correspondence from their client services office to confirm the voucher or to apologize for the inconvenience I called their call centre to follow up and waited for over an hour (in a queue which an automated voice would intermittently indicate that I was 16th in line. After an hour of being 16th in line I gave up. Since I had received no response I called my friend again who assured me that they would repay me. I am still waiting for any type of response from groupon. This is seriously ridiculous
