On the 06 Dec 2012, I purchased a Sports MP3 Player from Groupon via their website. The maximum waiting time to recieve one's order is 4 weeks, which I waited. Few days after the 4 weeks had passed, I sent an e-mail to Groupon (07 Jan 2013) to query my order as it had not arrived. The only feedback I received was a log number for my query. On wednesday (09 Jan 2013) I phoned them and only to discover that my purchase was not successful. They said that the supplier where they get these MP3 players did not notify them that they were out of stock and they will process my refund. What I don't understand is why they (Groupon) did not notify me a few days after I had paid for my order that they were out of stock. I am quite certain they were aware all those weeks. They should have also put a limit on their website for a number of purchases. What irritates me the most is the fact that they do not give regular updates and try to offer me an alternative to my order. I've heard people complain about Groupon and this has just comfirmed my doubts about them.
