On 24 July 2013, I have ordered a Shafing dish on one of the Groupon promotions under order nr 00101693K for the amount of R629.00 inclusive of delivery within 2 weeks from date of order. We were very eager to receive the Shafing dish but after 14 emails and hours wasted on the customer care call centre we were advised on 13 October 13 that the supplier went out off stock and that they would refund my account within 10 days, which was 17 days ago and still no dish or refund. We are very disappointed and if I am not mistaken the consumer act stipulates that an advertised product must be supplied as per the conditions of the sale. I have also spend hours of my time trying to communicate with them. What are there intentions cause I reckoned that if this happens to thousands of customers then it's a golden opportunity to earn interest in an investment account on all the deposits before refunding the customers, that's if they would eventually be refunded?
