Groupon SA has the worst customer service!

My boyfriend and I bought a Groupon on for 1 night accomodation and a spa voucher at Misty Hills, but realized that it was only valid on weekdays, so I wanted to cancel the groupon and get refunded as the Groupon cancellation policy states: RIGHT TO CANCEL: Once we send you the Groupon coupon, you may cancel the transaction at any time within 7 working days from the day after the day that you receive the Groupon coupon (where a working day is any day that is not a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday recognised in South Africa). If you do want to cancel, you must do so by sending us an email to tell us you are cancelling to: [Email Removed] - in each case, always provided of course that you have not yet redeemed the Groupon coupon.

We purchased the groupon on the 17th of July 2013, and within 6 working days we had requested a refund. We received an automated message and got a customer ticket number (ticket #7981) and have followed up 3 times since, but have had no word from Groupon.

This is COMPLETELY unacceptable, and I will not recommend groupon to anyone. We don't plan on purchasing any groupons in the future, because of the bad service but also because of the bad deal
