Hi There,
I have been a loyal customer of Groupon SA, and purchased many items in the past. The service I received has always been really good.

About 3 weeks ago on 13 May 2013, I purchased tickets to Mystic India at Emporers Palace. The show was for the 21st May 2013.
However, on 15th May 2013, I was admitted to the Netcare Waterfall City Hospital, with a severe case of Broncho-pneumonia. I remained in hospital until 24 May.

By the 17 May, I realised that my condition was serious, and I would not be able to attend the show, so I emailed groupon, asking if I could please be refunded for the tickets, as I was hospitalised till further notice.
I recieved a reply stating that I could not be refunded for an event.
I was too weak and sick in hospital to respond or do anything in reply to the response.

But I was really disappointed by Groupon; as I am a loyal customer for a long time. And I did have a valid reason for not being able to attend the show and asking for a refund a few days before the actual show. If i was not hospitalised, i definitely would have attended.
It now seems that Groupon does not really care or listen to what their customers are saying.
