My wife and i went into the Flight Centre in Cresta over the Easter weekend (Saturday) to get a quote for a European holiday in December. We spoke to a consultant named Brigitte who explained to us that she could only get the quote to us by the Tuesday, which wasn't a problem. Tuesday came and went without ANY response. My wife called her on the Wednesday to follow up on the quote to which she responded that she would get it to us by the next day, Thursday. No apology or anything, and it sounded like she completely forgot who we were. Again nothing. Brigitte then emailed us on the Saturday stating she would definitely get the quote to us that same day... once again she sent absolutely nothing.
Luckily we went to Pentravel, who got back to us on the Tuesday after the Easter Weekend with a comprehensive quote. So we decided to go with them. The quote came to just under 80k... so sorry Flight centre, you've missed out completely and we will never be using your services EVER.
The problem with slow service is that prices escalate very quickly. Your sales teams should know this, and respond hastily as standard practice.
