The service at Flight Centre is appalling!

On Sunday 30 June 2013 I went into Flight Centre at Sandton City and requested a quote from Warren Grisselle. He advised that their agents were closed and he will have the quote for me the following morning. I have received nothing to date (even though I did follow up twice). The past Saturday (13 July 2013) I went back to the same store to inquire re the quote for my holiday. I was told by Basing Serape (who was store manager for the day) that Warren was gone away to some conference and did not pass on my request for a quote to any of the other staff, neither did he log anything on their systems. Basing was supposed to work on my quote and call me back. 48hrs later, I have still not heard from her.
This level of service is nothing short of appalling!! The country which I want to go to requires me to get visa's, soon I will be running out of time to book my trip!
Flight Centre prides itself in the Travel industry on its level of service. But this experience is contradictory of the perception which Flight Centre depicts of itself. I certainly hope that by writing this report, I will get some attention from Flight Centre and wish to be compensated for the inconvenience caused to me!
