I made a reservation with SAA and subsequently changed my booking but when I made the change, the extra charges did not go through and I was not aware of this. When I got to the airport on the day of the flight, they told me that I have not paid and they now need to charge me an extra R200 per ticket (2 tickets) as a service fee. So I had no choice but to pay the R400 over and above the fees for changing the tickets.
I then logged a call (ref: 3XRZON) with SAA after my flight and after about a month of emails going back and forth they agreed to refund me the R400.
Up till today, SEVEN months after the incident I still have not received my refund and I have been sending multiple emails to them they said they have refunded me but I did not receive anything. I subsequently asked for the proof of payment and still no reply.
