Slow to Refund

Due to SAA rescheduling flights I had to cancel my trip. But I have been waiting for 2 weeks to have voyager refund my taxes and my miles. I had a gentleman contact me to organize the refund on Monday, promising to call me back in 10 minutes - a week later and I'm still waiting... They are very quick to take your money, but I need to wait forever to get MY money back... Is it rocket science to refund monies owed to a client?
