Empty promises want out

I attended a presentation in January 2011. The consultant that spoke to me presented the opportunity in investing in their company and I got offered 60 shares. All the promises of free breakaways, discounted flights a holiday in Mombasa ect. Have never materialised. After numorous calls Where I tried to get information to cancel and sell these fake "Shares". I have had no luck I have been unemployed for a couple of months and need to cancel this ASAP. I have never used any of these points and can't afford to keep this I want out as soon as possible. I am being threatened with being listed as a bad payer. Which I think is unfair According to the consumer act I have the right to demand this to be cancelled. I have now learnt that the points from 2011 has lapst because of a window period. Which I was never informed about.
Please note that the consumer rights protection act states in short the following:
Be heard: consumers have the right to be heard on issues, policies, plans, programmes and decisions which affect them.
Redress: When you are sold an inferior product or service, you have the right to demand a replacement or a refund.
