I booked a flight for my daugther from Maputo to Johannesburg return on 17 February 2013. I received a confirmation email with a booking code regarding my booking and confirmation that I had paid with a credit card. I called them today, per chance, to query about the possibility of moving the departure date earlier only to be told that the booking had been cancelled as the credit card was never processed!!! Had I not called, she would have gone to the airport only to be told that she had no booking. According to the customer service agent, they have had many of these complaints from customers booking via their internet website. I had no notice whatsoever that the credit card was not processed!! I do not check my credit card statement every second day and hence did not realize that it did not go off. But then, I should not have to! This is unexceptable service and could have caused havoc in our lives. They should learn from [URL Removed] on how to handle bookings online if they have no clue how to do it.
