We requested a apartment for 4 Adults at Blue Largo in Westbrook, Safarinow confirmed that 4 adults could sleep in this apartment however only suitable for 2 adults and 2 children, We were given Flat 7 at Blue Largo. At arrival we met with the agent, Tuck Khumalo, of this apartment and he showed us the place. We told him we stated 4 adults in our infomation given to Safarinow when we booked. We sa id to him we were not happy with this apartment as we had our mother which is 70 years old and a son that is 16. He then stated that he had no other apartment for us. We requested a refund for the deposit we paid (R4200), so we could get some other place to stay but when he referred this matter to the owner Maureen she refused to pay back the amount. She also stated that whether we stay there or not we will have to pay the full amount. She was not interested and even threatened to evict us. The apartment had a bad smell, the toilet seat was broken, the curtain fell off the railling, the linen for the sleeper couch was smelling full of urine. Washing machine door was not closing as a result water leaked out. No cleaning service. We had to pay the balance of R4200 as we had no choice.
