SAA/Quantas Bad Flight Serivce

Flew SAA/Quanta shared flight to Syd in Dec service there was shocking kids got no entertainment pack like normal, kids got one meal and a juice no snacks where adults got roll, salad refresh snack pack etc. got off the flight and though wow I normally get so much more to eat and drink then the service in general from flight attendants left MUCH to be desired I asked for a drink to be told not now I am busy clearing (but he was taking drinks to someone else) I think it was the worst flight I have every flown to Aus/NZ. On the way back it was like being on another airline kids got entertainment packs, meals with cool drink, roll, snack bar, refresh pack snacks bought around whole flight even adults was so much better I got off feeling stuffed and flight attendants were amazing. I have to wonder if I got True South African service on the way there and Australian service on the way back. I do not think at this point I will every fly SAA or Quantas again and I will tell everyone it was really shocking the service I got in general (booked 4 seats together 2 to side got 2 seated in front, 3 middle 1 somewhere else I had to fly with kids or pay more-lucky I got people to reshuffle)
