On Monday the 06/01/2014 I was booked to fly on Kulula MN451 from Lanseria to Cape Town at 06:00. I arrived at the airport shortly after 5:am, I headed to the bag drop off counter as I had already checked in on line. I was assisted by a young white male (whose name I leant was Verde at a later stage). I told him that I required the wheelchair service as I could not climb or go down any stairs due to a knee operation which I had just had. He gave me attitude on why I had not requested the service on-line.. He kept me standing there a for around 10 min and later told me to go sit down as someone will come with a wheelchair.

I sat there a good 15min with no word till we heard an announcement of a final boarding call and my husband went back to him to inquire. its only then that he came with a wheelchair to take me through to the boarding gate. when we got there they told me that the trck they use for wheelchairs has already been put away as I am late. I explained that I had been sitting at the check in counter with no one to assist me. they told me that the only thing that they could do was help me hop on the stairs to board the plane. I have never been so ill treated &embarassed
